Фирма в которой я сейчас работаю недавно обновляла мне американскую визу. Для обоснования новой визы был создан неслабый документ (составленный не мной, но про меня), вкратце объясняющий кто я такой и почему кому-то ещё нужен. Сходу я его не понял. При втором прочтении пришло осознание. Вот так о бедном еврее замолвили слово:
13. Describe Fully the Job to be Performed (Duties):
1. Analyze communication streams between applications and clients making requests on database servers and implement protocol analyzers and dissections for all major database platforms.
2. Install and manage database configurations including multi-operating system and multi-vendor environments.
3. Test correctness of protocol analysis and dissection in all the mentioned environments.
4. Design and develop analyzers and parsers for database communications based solely on network traffic such as TCP/IP, IPX, SNA etc.
The position involves primarily analyzing, designing, integrating and enchancing of software and hardware with a generalized breakdown of: Research analysis - 25%; Design, testing, coding - 50%; Integration & implementation - 25%.
14. State in detail the MINIMUM education, training and experience for a worker to satisfactory perform the job duties described in Item 13 above:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field; Minimum 5 years experience building high-performance multi-threaded security appliances and security and cryptography including PKI and SSL; Demonstrated Internals-level knowledge of Oracle's TNS, NET8 and NET9; Sybase TDS (all versions); SQL Server TDS (all versions) and IBM's DRDA; Demonstrated application of internals-level knowledge of network communication protocols for the four main database products (Oracle,Sybase,DB2,SQL Server); Experience with TCP/IP packet reconstruction. Expert-level knowledge of the C++ programming language and Linux environment.

Круто. Госдепартамент будет покорен твоими данными. Если поймут, конечно. А то подумают, что ты рваные пластиковые пакеты чинишь, прочитав про packet reconstruction...ходишь, такой, заросший, с коляской из супера, пакеты собираешь...
